Friend, family members, colleagues, congregants and well meaning personalities from all walks of life gathered recently to celebrate with Pastor Olu-Joseph of Christ Evangel Fire Mission as he marks his 59th. The birthday bash that took place at his Church premises, 48/50 Akwekwe Street, Sanya Bus Stop, Ijesatedo Lagos, was to thank God for his faithfulness upon his life, family and ministry.
His words: “I would have been a dead man if not for God’s grace and mercy. He sustained me and never allow the wiles of the wicked to come to pass in my life. When entering 50s, people notice it is the age of elder and people begin to call you Daddy. There are things you do people begins to give you honor and looking up to you for care, meaning no excuse at 50s.”
Pastor Babalana, popularly known as Babs, one of the guest ministers, encouraged the celebrant to remain steadfast in the way of the Lord and adviced the members to live a holy life to have a long life to serve Him.
Pastor Olu-Joseph, who is also the proprietor of Esteem College, was so delighted and excited to have some of his students and teachers, who came to celebrate with him. “My lovely wife Bukola Olu-Joseph, was most excited and elated including my children, Imisiayo, Ayodeji, Ayomipo, Ayotola, Morayo,” he added.
Other guest ministers at the programme include Pastor T.O Uche, Evangelist Okenwa, Pastor Frank Peters, Evangelist Mary among others.
